For some ideas to get you started, please click here. Now, for us, the season of goodwill is all year round, and we’re pleased to reflect on another successful year for our community programme. In the spring we awarded our annual International Women’s Day Donation to the Friends of the Women’s Library. The Aldgate-based Library is a fascinating archive of British women’s lives over the past 400 years, and holds Designated Status as a collection of outstanding national importance. Also this year, for the first time ever, we were able to run our first pan-London charitable project. We set out to raise funds to pay for the special training needed for counsellors working voluntarily with Cruse Bereavement Care through our annual "Share the Summer” event. We are delighted that, as a result of the response we received, the charity’s branches serving Kensington and Chelsea, Richmond Upon Thames and North London will now each be able to train one new bereavement counsellor.
